Ethical Standards

JAICCT follows the guidelines of:

• COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics)
• ICMJE
• EQUATOR Network reporting standards

1. Plagiarism

JAICCT screens all manuscripts with plagiarism detection tools (iThenticate or equivalent).

Submissions with significant overlap will be rejected without review.

2. Human and Animal Studies

Manuscripts involving humans must include:

• IRB approval
• Informed consent
• Compliance with data privacy standards (HIPAA/GDPR)

Animal studies must include ethical approval.

3. Authorship

Authors must meet ICMJE authorship criteria.

Contributions must be described upon submission.
